Crime Update 28th February to 5th March 2026 |
||
|
Dear Silhill residents,
Here is your crime update for 28th of February to 5th March 2026. There was a burglary of a home on REDLANDS ROAD, where the offender entered via the front door, but was disturbed and did not steal anything. It is possible that the offender was after keys to a car.
Good news! Our officers have been out and about as part of County Lines week. They conducted a knife sweep of Elmdon Park and Olton Jubilee Park. Fortunately, no weapons were found. Officers also conducted patrols around Solihull Railway Station. No issues to report. We have also held other patrols with our streetwatch groups. Thank you to our volunteers.
County lines week As I mentioned in the good news, it is county lines week. County lines is the name given to drug dealing where organised criminal groups use phone lines to move and supply drugs. They exploit vulnerable people, including children and those with mental health or addiction issues, by recruiting them to distribute the drugs. We want to stop county lines gangs from operating and exploiting vulnerable people. If you have any information, please let us know via 101 or online Report a crime | West Midlands Police Alternatively, you can report anonymously on crimestoppers. Independent UK charity taking crime information anonymously | Crimestoppers You can read more here County lines | West Midlands Police
We hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Kind regards, | ||
